Too much sugar before a big night out

We have all heard that too much sugar causes rapid blood sugar fluctuations and leads to the eventually crash of not only blood sugar, but energy. I learned this the hard way. A couple of years ago I thought it would be a good idea to eat a giant ice cream sundae for lunch, instead of my usual healthy sandwich. I started feeling lethargic within a couple of hours. By the time it was time to go out (for my best friend’s stagette party) I was a zombie. I yawned all night and didn’t live up to my reputation as that fun party gal who occasionally dances on tables and always stirs up a good time.
