Rude to the Wrong Stranger

I was in a bad mood and didn’t want to talk to anybody on the train. One guy said hello to me, and I ignored him. I knew I was being very rude and didn’t care that he got upset. I walked out of the train when my stop came. I was wheeling my bike along waiting to get out of the station to ride it home. The man followed me and started to yell. I ignored him again. Then he yelled some violent things at me. I ran out of the station, and I heard him say to an attendant there that he needed to kill me! I jumped on my bike and started to ride very fast to get away.
I probably could have avoided this situation if I had said “Hi” back to him. I learned that it is never okay to be rude especially because you could be rude to the wrong person who might want to kill you for revenge.
