My Bunny, Beheaded!

Once upon a time, I had this cutie bunny a friend gave me. I named her Cheddar. I love how she gnaws her food and lick my hand sometimes. She was the cutest thing ever. I can still remember her nice white fur and bunny ears. One time I had an out of town trip and had to leave Cheddar at home. I didn’t worry in leaving her because I know that my siblings (who are also very fond of her) will surely take good care of her. I returned home after a week and was devastated to find out that Cheddar’s dead. I cannot believe what my siblings told me about what happened. Accordingly, my siblings didn’t really know that Cheddar should always be placed inside her cage every after playing with her. The other day they just let her run inside the house because they thought being inside the cage is too sad for a bunny. When my siblings woke up that morning they saw Cheddar bloody and beheaded (what a sight!). They suspected our housecat was the culprit because the cat has bloodstain in its fur. My bad I didn’t reminded them to always put Cheddar in her cage because she’s still young and can’t defend herself from other animals. And take note, I’m referring to 12 and 14 year old siblings here. I disregarded that they were still young to be given this responsibility unsupervised.
