Exercise keeps the mind sharp

In college, I started to read more and have an avid thirst for knowledge. In turn, though, I became more sedentary and didn’t go out to get as much exercise as I had done previously. This started to make me anxious and wreak all kinds of havoc on my life, where I would lay asleep unable to fall asleep because I still felt full of all kinds of energy. I started to get back in the groove of going to the gym to lift more and to skateboard and walk around to get exercise. I felt a lot better and able to focus more on schoolwork and to deal with my high intensity emotions. Exercise is definitely important to keep up with and not something which can be neglected without consequence!
