Smokin’ hot hospital visit

About a month ago I received a phone call from my best friend’s sister , saying her sister is in the hospital. She told me it wasn’t anything too serious, she was just experiencing bad stomach ache. We met up and were making our way to the hospital, when we decided to make a stop at the shop and buy her something to cheer her up. We bought her some food and sweets and I noticed these red grave candles on sale. I have a bit of a dark sense of humour to which my friends have grown used to by now, I bought a candle for each of us and a lighter. When we got to the hospital, we lit up the candles before entering the room my friend was staying in. As we entered we started softly singing Michael Jackson’s „Heal The World”. It cracked my friend up so hard she had to run to the bathroom not to wet herself. Turned out she wasn’t alone in the room, but the other patient seemed very amused as well. We then put the candles on a table near my friend’s bed and chatted away. She didn’t know her diagnosis yet, so we just had a laugh. And then all of a sudden the fire alarm went off. One of the candle’s lids had started melting(no wonder they were discounted) and it was creating fumes, which prompted the unnecessarily dramatic ending of our visit with startled patients leaving the rooms and vexed nurses giving us condemning looks as we left the building a little embarrassed, but mostly just trying to hold back the laughter.
